Dear Sir or Madam,

We are pleased to invite you to take part in the conference inaugurating the project “Digital Journey through Muskau Arch Geopark”, which is being implemented under the INTERREG Poland–Saxony Cooperation Program 2021–2027. The event will take place on 29 September 2025 at the UNESCO Global Geopark Muskau Arch Office (Stara Cegielnia, Klein Kölzig, Germany).

The event is addressed, among others, to representatives of the educational community. Its aim is to present the geological heritage of the region as well as innovative digital tools supporting education and tourism. The program will include expert presentations on:

• the history of lignite mining in this region,
• the use of augmented reality and digital twins in education and tourism,
• the development of geotourism and cross-border cooperation.

Simultaneous translation will be provided during the conference.
