On 12-13 May, the 22nd Geokinematischer Tag conference was held at the Freiberg University of Mining and Technology. Among the presentations focused on various aspects of the application of geomatics in the mining sector, there were also presentations by people associated with the Department of Geodesy and Geoinformatics.
Graduate of the international studies "Geomatics for Mineral Resource Management" conducted jointly by the universities of Wroclaw and Freiberg, MSc Alexandra Dynowski presented her research carried out in the scope of her Master's thesis ("Multi-spectral satellite based environmental monitoring for post mining landscapes: a case study of Schleenhain, Germany").
Paweł Trybała, a Ph.D. candidate from our department, showed the first results of Polish-German cooperation within the project funded by DAAD and NAWA "Smart System for Underground Impact Geomonitoring - SMEG" ("Towards a mine 3D dense mapping mobile robot: A system design and preliminary accuracy evaluation").
